Japanese experts visit the EUREKA Secretariat

Japanese experts, headed by Mr Tatsuo Asai, General manager for Business development of OTSL research institute, discussed with Professor Haggenmueller, Chairman of the ITEA2 Cluster, the strategy of the EUREKA cluster for software-intensive systems and services and their possible cooperation during their working visit at the EUREKA Secretariat, on 24 September 2010. The OTSL is specialising in embedded, real-time systems and short-range wireless systems and is also cooperating closely with the Japanese automototive industry. The EUREKA Secretariat’s Svatopluk Halada introduced EUREKA’s position in the ERA. This visit should make an opening step for next discussion about closer cooperative relations between EUREKA and Japan.
