Trimek

TRIMEK is a Spanish SME manufacturer and seller of 3D contact equipment. During the last years, TRIMEK has opened a gap in the Spanish dimensional measurement cluster by its highly innovative development of 3D machines. TRIMEK, S.A. can be considered a model of which is know as NTBF (New Technology Based Firms), since "its strength and competitive edge derives from engineering know-how of the people who are integral to the firm, and upon subsequent transformation of this know-how into product or services for a market". This character compels TRIMEK to constantly develop new / innovative solutions for high technology users: automotive, shipbuilding, machine tool and aircraft.

TRIMEK´s R&D strategy is also in the way to develop contact-less solution for industrial applications. Any innovation in this field will also require strict calibration devices and procedures to ensure reliability of results. Translational co-operation within this project will provide TRIMEK with a higher expertise and test the new system in the most advanced and reliable industrial testbeds, especially in a European market.
