University of Vigo

The University of Vigo is an innovative and modern institution, created in 1990 when it separated from the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela. It is a public institution, considered the most technical of the universities of Galicia, it offers engineer degrees in Mining, Telecommunications, Computer Science and Industrial Engineering. Among other prestigious centres in the university are the schools of Translation and Interpreting, Private investigator and Security, and Sea Sciences (Oceanography and others).
