Saarland University will participate as research lab with a long established record in the development of static-analysis methods and of application of static analysis in different domains.

Reinhard Wilhelm’s group at Saarland University also has a strong profile in compiler construction including compilers for embedded processors: Post-pass code optimizations have been realized resulting in extremely high code quality. Commercialization of a tool, aiPop, has been performed by the spin-off company AbsInt.
