The radiotherapy department of IGR is currently leading a DICOM-RT imaging network in France where a large number of hospitals and multi-disciplinary experts is involved, and where treatment planning is shared by various hospitals. Therefore, any physician can be asked for an expertise. The current solution is based on DICOM images transfer. Once an image is received the physician works on the patient record and then the study is sent back to the origin hospital. The next step will consist of sharing the physicians’ workstations from any hospital.
