University Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée

University Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée is a _young_ and a _pluri-disciplinary_ university established in 1991 in Marne-la-Vallée (Paris Region). It was continuously growing until reaching in 2005 its stability point of around 11000 students and 900 employees (from which 285 permanent lecturers and researchers). It pursues a public service mission with a particular emphasis on two major goals: qualifying professional integration and the development of research excellence.
